Retro 51 Tornado Tribute Series Rollerball Pen, Corsair
Retro 51 Vintage Metalsmith Series Tornado pen, honoring the classic aircraft of WWII. The Vought F4U Corsair was the first American-made flyer to reach 400 miles per hour in level flight. Its distinctive features made it a favorite for outperforming the Japanese during World War II. The solid metal Corsair Tornado has acid etched “rivets” along the barrel; the body is printed with the plane’s markings and trimmed with gunmetal accents. It is fitted with a smooth flowing rollerball refill that is retracted with its patented knurl twist-top. Replace the rollerball with any readily available Parker-style ballpoint refill and your Tornado is now a ballpoint pen. You'll find both the Schmidt P8126 capless rollerball refill and Schmidt P900 ballpoint refill for this pen in our store under Refills. Gift packed in the Retro 51 gift tube. Retro 51 model number VRR-1963.
Length: 5" (127 mm); Width at center of barrel: 15/32" (12 mm); Weight: 1.0 oz. (29 g)
