In collaboration with Nespresso, Caran d’Ache presents a new 849 limited edition ballpoint pen made with aluminum from recycled Nespresso coffee pod capsules. This eco-conscious writing instrument represents the common values of the two iconic Swiss companies, namely: sustainable development, innovation, and Swiss design quality.

The midnight blue of the pen's body, clip and button highlights Caran D'Ache's color expertise. The body of the pen, made of recycled aluminum, is engraved with the phrase "A recycling story is in your hands" - a reminder that every action matters and that everyone can write their own story.

The writing experience is exceptionally smooth thanks to the Goliath 849 ballpoint cartridge. The pen is packaged in an environmentally-friendly box made from 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard.

Metal Collection ballpoint pens are recognizable by their hexagonal shape, inspired by Caran d'Ache's classic pencil. They are appreciated for their light body and are equipped with the famous Goliath giant cartridge.
