Caran d'Ache Ecridor Ballpoint Pen
Retro Silver Plated and Palladium Coated
Previously Owned - No Box
True to its name, the Ecridor™ Retro pays tribute to the first Caran d'Ache mechanical pencils, made from precious metals since 1947. Its guilloche pattern is emblematic of vintage models. This elegantly matches its platinum-coated finish.
The Ecridor pens from Caran d'Ache owe their success to their classic hexagonal design robust construction and legendary reliability. It is a classic in the true sense of the word. The bodies of all the silver-plated pens are made of brass with rhodium finishes.
The pen fits easily in the hand and remains comfortable even when writing for long periods thanks to its hexagonal shape which characterizes the brand and especially the 849™ collection. Its metal body is the reflection of one of Caran d’Ache major know-how. A varnish protects it from scratches.
Caran d'Ache was founded in Geneva in 1915 and remains Switzerland's only manufacturer of pencils, fine arts products and writing instruments. Based in a country that is world famous for its watchmaking and jewelry, it is not surprising that the company has earned an international reputation for products of exceptional quality and beauty.
