Retro 51 Tornado Metropolitan Museum of Art Rollerball Pen, Tiffany's Favrile
Officially Licensed Metropolitan Museum of Art fine writing instrument
Tiffany's Favrile Tornado rollerball pen recalls an iridescent Favrile glass vase (ca. 1900) with a peacock feather motif, produced by the Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company (American, 1892–1902). It's been printed with shimmering metallic inks finished with chrome accents.
Each Tornado has The Met logo imprinted on the finial and is finished with polished trim. Although they are not limited editions, the top rings are engraved with The Met logo and a serial number. These beautiful designs are a must have for any art lover.
It is fitted with a smooth flowing rollerball refill that is retracted with its patented knurl twist-top. Replace the rollerball with any readily available Parker-style ballpoint refill and your Tornado is now a ballpoint pen. You'll find both the Retro 51 REF5P capless rollerball refill and Schmidt P900 ballpoint refill for this pen in our store under Refills. Gift packed in matching commemorative Retro 51 gift tube that doubles as a pen stand. Retro 51 model number MRR-2122.
